Turn, turn, turn around !

Turn off your watch, your radio
Step out into the open air
From the sunlight make yourself a halo
And be guided by the winds from everywhere !

Turn around and take it all in !
Find a rhythm, find a tune, find a song
Throw your troubles in the nearest rubbish bin
Make the good times go on and on !

Turn your mind to the pleasures of the table
Feed your soul and nourish within
Use the time to do what you are able
Let your knowledge be fat, not thin !

Turn around, turn around, turn around
Don’t be limited to one side !
Be firm and stand your ground
And be generous, kind, not snide

Turn off time, enjoy the moment
Step out onto the dance floor
Ignore the furtive, misguided comment
Don’t settle for less, ask for more !
