Turgid rigidity

Oh, shut the front door
I’ve had a bad day
And you are such a bore !
If you indeed have nothing to say
And there is booing from the floor
Don’t stick your hand out for pay
Or, god forbid, ask for an encore.

Oh, shut the front door
You’re more turgid and crass
Than a film full of blood, bad plots and gore
Why must you be an ass ?
Why do you insist on verbalising more ?
Wit does not come from sheer mass
There must be something at the core !
