Myopia in this day and age

How like the frigatebirds are we
Who puff their chests out so we can see
But everyone here will not agree
As selfish and myopic we all seem to be

How boring just to hear ‘me, me, me’.
When the song is not in the key of ‘E’
One might be better up a tree
And breathe the air that still is free.
