Ambuscading ?! Moi ?

Someone called me ‘ambuscading’ today – for those of you without recourse to a dictionary, the word originates from ‘ambush’ / “ambuscade” and generally means to attack suddenly from a concealed place. Frankly it seemed a rather odd choice of word – was I concealed ? Well, given that the forum involved was on the web, this was debatable. Did I attack suddenly ? Well, perhaps the person was not expecting my online post so perhaps he had a point there as to suddenness (or maybe not – if you think about it, if you are on an online forum, all posts are somewhat ambuscating, are they not ?) but as i was not attacking, the choice of word pitifully falls flat on its tushie. Insert raspberry here.

I wonder if you can ambulate and ambuscate ? Doesn’t that sound like a sort of guerilla warfare ? On what would one masticate ? Or must you first dessicate ? All too hard, wouldn’t you say ? On the whole, it’s all someone trying to obfuscate.

‘evening all !
