Wandering down the alleyways in Melbourne

Through the little alleyways we wander
Hand in hand, slowly meander
Down Swanston, toward Flinders
As the rain eases and lingers.
At the clock tower
As passers-by glower
(But I don’t care,
Our time is for us to share)
We embrace and kiss and stare
Into each others eyes
We fight to make the moment last
But the clock ticks away fast
And we must let go.
Our disentangling is deliberately slow.
A final look, a smile, a laugh
As we each head down a different path
Our hearts sing,
Our spirits take wing
As we know we are in love.
The result of magic from the heavens above
